Frank C. Alvidrez
Frank Alvidrez is a senior flight test engineering working to support AFOTEC DET 5 at Edwards AFB in support of Air Force operational flight testing for Electronic Warfare (EW) and Cybersecurity. He specializes in advanced system engineering and architecture techniques and their applications to Operational Test and recently led various recent efforts of cybersecurity planning and test execution for the B-2A”Spirit” Bomber. He has 30+ years of experience in system engineering of aerospace programs. He is a Certified Enterprise Architect (DoDAF & UPDM). He currently supports a number of major Department of Defense efforts in Flight Test, Cybersecurity, System Engineering, Model Based System Engineering, Program Management, Enterprise Architectures, NetCentric Data Strategy, SysML, and DoDAF/UPDM Training. He is an alumnus of USC Viterbi School of Engineering and was commissioned from the NROTC program at USC as a 2nd Lt of Marine. Remains as Industry Faculty in the area of System Engineering and MBSE. He served in the Marines as a Naval Aviator and worked in the Defense Industry in various acquisition and engineering assignments. Mr. Alvidrez also worked 20 years for the Lockheed Martin Skunkworks and has worked a number of projects to include; B-2A, F-22, F-35, Navy J-UCAS, F-16, C-130, A-4AR, U-2, SR-71, OV-10A/D and various classified projects. He is a member of the Association of Enterprise Architects (a|EA), INCOSE, and a number of other professional organizations on System Engineering and Enterprise Architectures.
